The Virgin Valley, Nevada Petrified Wood is from our recent mining expedition. This one had a surprise ribbon of black Precious Opal within, though it’s small and the little red flash is pretty shy. It’s more a cool piece of wood with a secret. The Petrified Wood is stabilized, 18mm x 4mm, and the 6.5mm pearl is from old stock purchased about 25-30 years ago at the Tucson Gem Show.

The hand fabricated ensemble is set in Fine Silver with Sterling Silver bail loops and hook and loop closure. The pendant is hung on Greek leather, 1.5mm, 18”ish cord so that it’s ready to wear and I always imagine that if folks have a specific kind of chain they like, one would be welcome to transfer it to a chain from your own collection as well.

Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.
