Viking Weave ThunderEgg Agate Waterline Bracelet
Bracelets are great because you, the wearer, get to admire it too! This Thunder Egg Agate is worthy of hours of your attention; wonderful detailed waterlines in varying colors of blushes to rust and a Rhyolite island that is laced with tiny fortifications. The Sterling silver finds the cool colors in the stone while the patinated and polished copper comingles with the warm tones. The Viking Weave copper ‘chain’ has its own body so it wears like a ‘banglet’ clasping to your M/L wrist with a clever hook and loop that are part of the body of the piece.
This lovely piece of Waterline Thunder Egg was dug by Karen and Steve at Richardson’s Rock Ranch in the Priday Bed. Karen created the cabochon out of the egg which measures 16x13 mm, the body of the piece measuring 25mm x 33mm. The hand woven (by Karen) Viking Weave ‘chain’ is 3mm in width and approximately 6 1/4 inches in length with findings. The over all measurement of the bracelet is approximately 7 1/2 inches that provides a comfortable ‘banglet’ (bangle and bracelet combination) fit. The chain and body of the bracelet are patinated copper while the clasps, details, and bezel on the body of the piece are Sterling and Fine Silver. The clasp is a hook and loop closure adjacent to the stone and part of the design and aesthetic of the piece. The body of the piece is created ‘open backed’ to allow light to come through the stone for viewing and provide a comfortable wearing surface.
This piece was fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.

We ship ASAP. Most of the time, we can get your package into the mail next day (and up to 3 business days). We use priority USPS and they’ve been consistent in delivery time (usually a day to a week travel time depending on where you are).
