This river in the ring was carved out of hammered copper 1.3mm thick and 4.3mm wide. The river contains Malachite and Turquoise with 18k gold flakes that continue around the full circumference of the size 8 ring. The copper is brought to a high ‘fluid’ like polish with natural dips, divots, and textures from the hammering. The copper is not treated so it will patina in beautiful colors as it oxidizes and can always be brought back to it’s original luster with a jewelry polishing cloth or other manual polishing methods (vibratory polisher not recommended). This piece was fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.

We ship ASAP. Most of the time, we can get your package into the mail next day (and up to 3 business days). We use priority USPS and they’ve been consistent in delivery time (usually a day to a week travel time depending on where you are). As aforementioned, you’ll have a tracking number so you can anticipate the arrival.
