The main stone is Graveyard Point Plume Agate (Oregon) that we dug and Karen hand carved into the drop amulet. The gem is about 21mm x 14mm and contains mineral inclusions that reach upwards like trees as well as clear to blue tinted agate body. The over all length of the amulet is 36mm or about 1 1/2”. The body of the piece is patinated copper with Fine Silver holding the stones and sterling silver embellishment. The Common Thunderegg Opal, measuring roughly 6mm, is from Richardson’s Ranch (Oregon) Steve and Karen mined in the Blue Bed. The necklace is 18” not counting the amulet (a width of 32mm or about 1 1/4”) and is fastened with a hook and loop closure.

This piece was fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.
