Here’s an extraordinary statement ring; the deepest, darkest Blue Thunder Egg Agate we’ve ever polished! The agate is hand faceted and contains both lacy fortification lines and Rhyolite. We left the back open on this ring, both for comfort of wear but also so that those fortification lines could be admired backlit. The elegantly simple setting is a Fine Silver Bezel and Sterling Silver, size 7 3/4- 8 , two into one ring band.
This amazing Blue Thunder Egg Agate was dug out of the Blue Bed at Richardson’s Ranch by Karen and Steve. Karen hand faceted the gem and set it into the Fine and Sterling Silver setting. The gem setting is left open backed so the agate may be viewed backlit and to add to the over all comfort of the size 7 3/4 to 8 ring. The stone measures approximately 19mm by 14mm and about 5mm tall, beautifully statement sized! The best part is that this stone is like a chameleon; it looks dark to black in diffuse light and in full sun it shows off its rich colors and intricate patterns.
This piece was fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.

We ship ASAP. Most of the time, we can get your package into the mail next day (and up to 3 business days). We use priority USPS and they’ve been consistent in delivery time (usually a day to a week travel time depending on where you are). As aforementioned, you’ll have a tracking number so you can anticipate the arrival.
