The Sunstone was mined by Karen and Steve Britt at the Spectrum Sunstone Mine in Oregon. It is domed in cabochon form to show off the natural glow of the Champagne, clear sunstone. The piece is also made open backed so the light can shine through the stone. The over all length of the pendant is 25mm or roughly 1 inch.

The pendant is hung on a Greek Leather 1.5mm cord that is approximately 17.5” with a sterling silver hook and loop clasp. As with all of the pendants on the website, each one could pair with any of the chains you have at home. We just like to send it off to you ready to wear and we like this presentation for wearing them also; it’s like the perfect black frame on a picture, goes with everything. Choosing the perfect chain for each individual is like attempting to choose the perfect haircut for them! You are welcome to hang this lovely pendant from any chain of your choice.

This piece was fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.

We use priority USPS and they’ve been speedy in delivery time ahead of the holidays (usually 1 to 5 business days travel time depending on where you are).
