We ventured out to the Sunstone mines in Eastern Oregon to fetch these Sunstones ourselves just for you. They are left ‘rough’ or exactly how they come out of the ground. The earring body is made from patinated Copper with the bars, bail, and earring wires all Sterling Silver. They hang about 38mm or 1.5” from the hole, in length, and are approximately 16mm wide. Each earring weighs about 3.4 grams, a nickel weighing 5.1, so these are comfortable as well as being uniquely dazzling. Because they’re ‘cage’ on both sides, the sunstones catch any backlighting and are delightfully illuminated (appropriately for their name!).

These earrings were fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.

We use priority USPS and they’ve been speedy in delivery time (usually 1 to 5 business days travel time depending on where you are).
