Sometimes a gem is so spectacular, the setting just wants to hold the stone like the frame on a painting. This masterpiece made by nature is emerald green Moss Agate from Central Oregon with white fortification lines and Druzy Quartz within them. Usually with Moss Agate, the thinner the cabochon the better. This one is fantastically thick but clear enough that the detail of the moss all the way through it can by enjoyed. The ‘Lucid’ setting is all Fine Silver, left open backed, with Sterling loops from which it hangs.
This pendant comes with a 1.5 mm Greek Leather cord, measuring about 18 inches, and is held to your neck with a hand made Sterling Silver hook and loop clasp. The stone was sourced in Oregon, hand polished, and the setting fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.
