Welcome to the Puppy Page! We’re working on constructing this page in between play sessions with these awesome pups. Information about Lily and Ochoco’s litter will be added here plus profile pages for each of the pups with extra picture cuteness. They were born on 5/11 so they’re 13 week old firecrackers of fun at the moment.
There are 7 puppies and they are listed in order of appearance on their birthday. Click on their pictures or names to see more pictures of each one.
Dahlia, Owyhee, Woody, and Trillium at about 6 weeks.
Trillium, Dahlia, Steens, Woody, Owyhee, and Lupine at about 8 weeks.
The puppies are listed in order of appearance and we gave them ‘work in progress’ names for now (feel free to rename). All the girls were named from Oregon flowers after Lily and all the boys were named after mountains/adventure spots after Ochoco.
The first one of the litter and she’s been moving and shaking ever since. She’s regal and calm, like her mom, but also a blur (difficult to photograph!). That doesn’t stop her from being very loving as she’s also quite content to come and sit in your lap for a snooze. Her coat, as it’s coming in, is the most unique I’ve seen; being a mix of blue and red with the ‘ticking’ of the blue tick heeler, ending up a ‘purple’ mix.
A sweetie to be sure, this girl is the smallest of the litter but is absolutely no shrinking violet. She loves to play and will go toe to toe (or paw to paw as it were) with the biggest boys
An elegant ‘lady’ of a pup, Dahlia was the third puppy born and the third female (in a row, and that’s all, so ladies first!). She’s predominantly red so far, and has some lovely ‘make-up’ markings associated with her mask. This flower is playful but elegant as well, like her mother.
This plucky pup is everyone’s friend and plays with all his brothers and sisters with delight. Already an expert at chasing a ball and chewing on toys, this little guy is going to be a top shelf athlete.
This gorgeous hunk of a pup shares the spot for largest of the litter. He’s the strong, dark, and handsome type with a great black mask and tricolor suit. He’s curious and was the first one to figure out how to spring himself out of the whelping tub by climbing over the wall.
A gentle chap that is the other pup dueling for the biggest of the litter award. He’s very adventurous and finds a way outside the puppy paddock quite a bit, to do some snooping around, before he’s apprehended and returned to the fold.
This was the last pup to arrive in the litter and he’s a jewel like the cherry on top of the sundae. He’s typically off by himself checking out all the new things in the world, though he’s often the first to trot on over when he hears your voice or sees you come into the room. He’s got the tri-color coat going and look at that mask!
