Like a painter’s palette, colors swirl around inside this Thunder Egg Agate from the far South-East of Oregon. Left open backed, the detail and variation of clear through pink, yellow, and red Agate can be seen illuminated from behind. Fine silver holds the gem as well as splashes down the sides of the cuff as though a painter brushed them on. Hammered copper holds this whole thunder show to your small to medium sized wrist.
The cuff style bracelet body is hammered 20 gauge copper with 22 gauge Fine Silver. The setting is Fine Silver and is hand carved in the abstract design. The stone was hand polished, and the setting fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.
